We have finally got to point where we can add more of those all important finishing touches. We’ve been looking for prints and photos to put up so when Photowall gave me the opportunity to work with them I jumped at the chance.
We moved into our house almost 3 years ago, and it was in desperate need of an overhaul. It was difficult to see it ever becoming the family home we dreamed of. We had to do everything from rewiring, knocking down walls right through to redecoration. It was a massive effort especially as Emilia arrived 4 months after we moved in.
Adding prints and photos around a home can really transform a room and make it feel more homely. They can also bring back memories of past moments and really add character to a room. We have slowly been adding photos to our house, and have lots of family photos up including Emilia’s newborn shoot and we have created a small gallery wall in our hallway with wedding photos and wedding related prints. However we really needed something for our living room. It is a large space so we knew we needed something that could really make an impact but it was difficult to choose what that would be.
Photowall is an amazing site with so much to choose from, from wallpaper to murals, canvases to framed prints there is a product for everyone.
There is literally thousands of different products to choose from on the site, and it was difficult to choose a favourite. In the end we chose a Singapore skyline piece, which brings back memories of our honeymoon. It is really nice to have art that is personal to you in my opinion and so something like this is perfect. The poster fits are living room perfectly, and will always bring a smile to my face as I remember the first part of our honeymoon. Singapore is such an amazing city, and one of my favourite places so it seemed perfect to choose a piece of art that reflected that.
However you don’t have to choose one of the pieces already on the site, Photowall can also bring your own images to life. You can customise the pieces as well, choosing the perfect size to fit your room and adding a border or not. Photowall also offer the option to add a poster hanger which creates even more of an impact. Not only are the products really high quality, they are also reasonably priced. The poster is printed on premium paper, with is age resistant and gives a gorgeous matte appearance. They also use UV resistant ink so the print shouldn’t fade.
I’ve have been really impressed with Photowall all the way through the process, from ordering to delivery.
The site was really user friendly and easy to search, although you could get lost browsing through their collection. There are so many categories to choose from, from animals to transport and everything in between. And then once you’ve made your selection it it really easy to customise and order. Delivery was really quick as well and free to the UK. It took less than 3 days from ordering the poster to having it on our wall. Definitely nothing to complain about.
Photowall really do have something for everyone with the perfect selection to transform any room. Prints can really add that little bit extra to a room, and make your house feel that little bit more like a home.
